💖 A Heartfelt Cause
This year's egg hunts hold a special place in our hearts. We're dedicating our efforts to support our dear friends, Mike and Kellie Boston and their family. Kellie, an incredible photographer and the first friend I made when moving to the area in 2016, and her family are facing a challenging time as Mike recently underwent his second double lung transplant. The Bostons, pillars of our community and symbols of resilience and love, need our support to navigate through significant medical expenses. We pledge to donate 100% of the profits and tips from our egg hunts to the Bostons. By joining our egg hunts, you're not just embarking on a joyous spring adventure; you're also helping a beloved family in their time of need.
All donations will be made through First Port City Bank by April 8, 2024, ensuring the Bostons receive every penny without any transaction fees.

About
September 1, 2018 Mike received his first double lung transplant at Mayo clinic in Jacksonville, Florida due to cystic fibrosis! The new lungs worked amazing for him for over 5 1/2 years until he contracted Covid .
From December 6 2023 to January 26th 2024, Mike was hospitalized at Mayo in Jacksonville and then on January 26. He was airlifted by jet to Vanderbilt medical Institute in Nashville Tennessee.
January 31st at 6:30 pm Mike was wheeled out of surgery with 2 brand new lungs after a 10 hour surgery!!!! Doctors are amazed! 21 hours after completion the breathing tube has been removed and he is breathing on his own!!!!!! We have a long road of recovery but we are ready. We are extremely grateful for our donor and their family. Please keep them in your thoughts, and we are extremely amazed by our fabulous team at Vanderbilt medical University.

Option #3, simply attend an approved fundraiser and give your donation to those running the event.
